The Florence Griswold Museum in Connecticut invites artists to decorate wooden palettes that are then hung on Christmas trees throughout their galleries to celebrate the holidays. This year they used Philip Koch's painted palette on the postcard announcing the program. The holiday exhibition continues through Jan. 3, 2021.

Cedar Rapids Museum of Art in Iowa included their Philip Koch oil Cape Cod Morning in their exhibition 125! 125 Masterworks from the Collection. The exhibition celebrates the museum's 125 anniversary. Other artists in the show include art historic figures like Grant Wood, Henry Ossawa Tanner and the Renaissance artist Lucas Cranach the Elder. The exhibition runs through Jan. 17, 2021

Cape Stories, a show about the history of Cape Cod. It includes Philip Koch's painting Penniman House. Here is a link to the flip book's pages on Koch's work.

The Ogunquit Museum of American Art is planning a feature exhibition of Philip Koch's paintings. Scheduling is still in process but it will open in either 2021 or 2022.

During this difficult virus threat Philip Koch and his wife Alice are both working from home. "I have a good stock of canvas and paint" says Koch. "Despite everything else, this can also be a time of great creativity. I'm getting a lot of good painting done."

This ad appears in the Nov/Dec issue of Fine Art Connoisseur featuring the painting The Dawn, oil on canvas, 18 x 36 inches. "This painting was inspired by the wide-open view from the summit of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in Maine. My wife and I honeymooned there years ago- ever since it has had special meaning for me" explains Koch.
